Exam II Grades Posted

The grades for Exam II are posted. There were three questions that were poorly written and just plain bad -- so I threw them out. I went ahead and eliminated another one just to be nice, so your points were calculated as the number correct out of 46, rather than 50. The grades overall were pretty good, with a class average of 78.

Grade distribution and statistics are below. Also, I added a column with your total points. There have been 265 total points available, so you can calculate your approximate letter grade by dividing your total points by 265. For example, if your total is 2225, then 225/265 = 85%, which would be a solid "B." (If your total is in parentheses, you haven't presented your group case yet, so you would divide by 215 instead of 265). There are still nearly half the points to go, so you can still raise your grade significantly if it's not where you want it to be, but I wanted to give you some sort of mid-term progress report.
