Final Grades Posted

The grades for the final exam (and the final grades) are posted on Blackboard. I threw out 4 questions, so your points are calculated as number correct out of 46 questions, instead of 50. There were not many A's, but there were quite a few B's.

The final letter grades are also posted. I hope you all enjoyed the course, and wish you all the best for the holidays and for the future.

Study Tips For Final Exam

I thought I would share an approximate breakdown of the weight for each chapter on the final exam.

Chapter %
Ch13 15%
Ch14 15%
Ch15 15%
Ch16 20%
Ch17 10%
Ch18 25%

As I mentioned in class, you should definitely be able to use the various consumer compensatory and non-compensatory decision-making models. Use your handouts as a study guide, but definitely make sure you've read the chapters.

Good luck, and see you Wednesday at 1:30 in the regular classroom.

Project/Participation Grades Posted

Your project grades are now posted on Blackboard. I provided comments in the assignment tool for each group, but overall, I was pleased with your work.

You will also see your overall participation points. This rates how much you contributed to class discussions, etc.

If you want to see what you need to make on the final exam to make an A, B or C, just plug you points into this grade calculator (Excel format).

Student Evaluation of Teaching

As you probably know, this semester UNT has switched to an online system of student evaluations. I want to encourage all of you to take advantage of this opportunity to rate both my teaching and the course.

This is important because it (a) is how the university evaluates me as an instructor, and (b) helps me improve my teaching and the setup of the course. Answer honestly, and don't worry ... your ratings and comments will remain anonymous, and the results won't be released until after grades are assigned.

Take the survey here.

Project Reminders

Remember, sometime before 5 p.m. tomorrow, each group is required to send a short paragraph describing their product for the project.

Also regarding the project, remember that the paper itself is due two weeks from today (December 9), so if you are just now thinking about your topic, you are behind schedule.
